Terms & Conditions

By using this site you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online, by e-mail, telephone or by post with Exmoor Outdoors. Please read carefully before placing any order.

All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.

Prices

All prices stated on the Exmoor Outdoors website are shown in Pounds Sterling (£). All prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Orders

We are pleased to accept orders made online through the Exmoor Outdoors website or our other outlets. Please refer to our Ordering & Payments section for further details.

All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer. We accept Visa, Delta, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo and Paypal.

If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order.

No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder.

After you have completed and submitted your order, we will send you an order confirmation using the email address you provided during the checkout process. When we have received an authorised payment, we will dispatch the items using the requested delivery service and notify you by email.

Product Availability

Products are sold singly unless otherwise stated and are subject to availability. We may sell out of a particular product and, in the unlikely event that you have ordered an item that is no longer available, we will notify you immediately. We will complete the rest of your order and endeavour to dispatch the item it as soon as it becomes available or issue you with a refund for that item.

Delivery

Items ordered will be delivered as soon as possible in accordance with the requested delivery service. Charges for the different delivery services are detailed in our Delivery Information section. All delivery charges are subject to change without prior notice.

Every effort is made to ensure that delivery is made within the estimated time scales and a maximum of thirty days. All goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within thirty days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Outstanding orders / items can be cancelled at any time. In instances where payment has already been made, an alternative or refund in full for the item(s) concerned will be given.

In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, items shown as missing from the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then you must notify us within seven working days of the date of delivery. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory.

We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by our appointed carrier or delivery service. Liability in such cases is limited to the value of those items, which are shown to have not been received by the customer.

Delivery times provided by our courier companies are an estimate only and may change due to issues outside of our control. These could include but are not limited to issues such as inclement weather or traffic delays.

Sales, Offers, Discounts & Coupon Codes

Sales, offers, coupon codes and discounted items cannot be purchased in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Unfortunately, promotional coupon codes will not work against sale items as these products have already been substantially discounted.

When placing your order using a discount or promotional coupon code, please be aware that the following exclusions apply:  gift cards and gift certificate vouchers, postage and delivery charges, previously discounted items, sale items and special order items. In addition, this offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Exmoor Outdoor offer or discount.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates can be purchased to any value between £5 and £50.

A Gift Certificate can be individually sent to the recipient's email address after ordering it online from this website. Once purchased, Gift Certificates are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash or further Gift Certificates. The recipient can use the unique code, provided in the email, at the shopping cart to redeem the Gift Certificate amount from the order total.  

All Gift Certificates should be treated as cash, as we are unable to replace a gift certificate if lost or stolen. We reserve the right to refuse to accept a Gift Certificates which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise is suspected to be affected from fraud.

Returns and Exchanges

We want you to be entirely satisfied with every purchase made from us and strive to offer you excellent quality, value and service at all times.

If you wish to return an item for exchange or you have decided not to keep it, please complete and submit a Product Returns Form via this website or complete the details on the reverse side of your delivery note.

Please send the item(s) you wish to return in a new and unused condition together with the products original packaging and labelling within 30 days. We will exchange or refund the cost of the item(s) where appropriate.

All goods must be in a new and unused condition together with a copy of your original confirmation order and delivery note.

Faulty Items

If you wish to return any item due to it being faulty, please complete and submit a Product Returns Form via this website or complete the details on the reverse side of your delivery note, giving details of the fault.

Please send the item(s) in its original packaging and labelling, where possible, together with a copy of your original confirmation order and delivery note within 30 days. We will exchange the item or refund the full cost including any delivery charges incurred where appropriate once the goods have been assessed by the returns team.

With all returns, if you are in any doubt or require assistance, please contact us. We are here to help you. We recommend that all items returned to us be sent recorded delivery with insurance paid as a minimum. Your local Post Office will be able to advise.

Distance Selling Regulations

Under the distance selling regulations, you have a right to cancel your order for up to fourteen days from the date of delivery for any item purchased through the website and receive a refund for those items. This does not apply to any perishable goods, unsealed software or item personalised or made to your specification.

To cancel any item, you can us the Contact Form or write to us quoting your customer number and order number. You must take reasonable care of the items and retain all original packaging.

Returning your items within 7 days of cancellation will result in a prompt refund. Items should be returned to us at:

All goods are returned at your own expense unless the item is deemed faulty or incorrect, where we will refund the cost of delivery on receipt of the goods. Should you require your unwanted goods to be collected, we will deduct the appointed couriers direct costs from the refund given.

Providing the goods are received back with their original packaging and all accessories, you will receive a refund within fourteen days of your notice to cancel.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for non-performances of our obligations caused or resulting from industrial disputes or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the company such as act of God, riots, civil commotion, flood, fire and legislation. If by reason of such circumstances it shall become impossible within a reasonable time for the company to wholly or partly supply the items ordered then the customer's liability will be limited to the value of the items already supplied together with any associated delivery charges.

Complaints

We greatly value the feedback and opinions of our customers. Any complaint or compliment can be sent to us via the Contact Form or in writing. We will endeavour to deal with your complaint promptly. In the event where we cannot resolve your complaint immediately we will advise a likely time scale to you and keep you informed of any investigation.

Pricing, Content and Print Errors

Prices and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions. We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.

Every effort is made to ensure the colours depicted on the website match as closely as possible those of the actual product. Due to technical limitations, some colours may vary.

Any information displayed on our website(s) or other printed matter by Exmoor Outdoors is not regarded to be authoritative or certified as the best practice and is only considered to be useful supplementary advice to other certified codes of practice. All information on our web site is updated regularly.

Ownership of Goods

All items supplied to the customer remain the property of Exmoor until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.
