The Lynton and Barnstaple Railway - Anthology
BK25
Price in UKŁ 6.95

This anthology has been compiled from the many articles and books written about the railway during and after its lifetime. It is fitting it should start with an interview with Sir George Newnes, the main energy and driving force behind the formation of the railway and Chairman of the railway company from 1895 until his death in 1910, and end with what is regarded by many as the ‘obituary’ article, which appeared in November 1935.

The range of articles and extracts from other writings gives a flavour of the charm and uniqueness of the railway which even today still evokes a passion.
